Booking a car lift rental at our DIY garage is easy. Reserve a bay online here, show up at CoGarage El Monte, where we will load up your car on a lift safely and you’ll have everything you need: the lift, free tools, bright lighting, and even optional ALLDATA access for pro repair manuals.

Please note that the time required to load and unload your vehicle is included in the total rental duration.

Yes absolutely! A car lift rental can save you hours compared to working in your driveway. No more jacks, bad lighting, or cramped space. With pro-grade lifts, included tools, and the right setup, you’ll work faster and safer—whether it’s a quick oil change or a weekend repair.

If your repair takes longer than expected, you can extend your booking (if time is available) or leave your car in our secure car storage lot. It’s a stress-free way to finish the project on your schedule.

Every car lift rental in El Monte includes full access to the lift, professional-grade tools, oil catchers, lighting, and plenty of workspace. ALLDATA repair can also be added for detailed repair manuals or you can become a member and have access for free!

Yes! You can ship parts directly to CoGarage in El Monte. That way, when your car lift rental time comes, your parts are waiting for you—no delays, no missed deliveries.

Our DIY garage is stocked with nearly all the tools you’ll need for car repair. If there’s a specialty tool we don’t carry, just let us know. We’re always adding equipment based on member requests. However, if you do need parts while you are here we are partnered with Oreilys and they can deliver parts to us within 30 minutes.

Yes! Every bay at CoGarage is equipped with a TV so you can stream YouTube tutorials, pull up wiring diagrams, or follow step-by-step guides while you wrench. No more juggling your phone with greasy hands — our DIY garage is set up to make your repair process smoother and more efficient.

Not at all! At CoGarage, our staff sets up and operates the car lift for you, so you never have to worry about figuring it out yourself. We’ll safely position your vehicle, raise it, and walk you through the process so you feel comfortable working underneath. You just focus on the repair, upgrade, or project we’ll handle the lift. Many first-timers book a car lift rental with us every week.

Yes. In most traditional repair shops across Los Angeles, 50–70% of the cost comes from labor. At CoGarage, our DIY garage in El Monte gives you access to professional tools, car lift rentals, and even ALLDATA repair manuals so you can handle the labor yourself. That means you’re saving money and still getting professional-grade equipment.

We recommend arriving on time since bookings are in high demand. If you’re running late, let us know, we’ll do our best to adjust, but late arrivals may lose time on the lift. But please be aware that your rental period will still start and end at the original time unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

No worries! Many of our members come in without being experts. With ALLDATA access, you get step-by-step dealer-level repair guides, torque specs, and wiring diagrams. Plus, the CoGarage community in Los Angeles is here to help. Whether you’re changing oil or tackling a full project, our DIY garage environment makes it easy to learn.

Don’t stress it—our car lift rental bays come with oil catchers and cleanup supplies. Just return the space the way you found it and we’ll handle the rest.

That’s totally fine. Our DIY garage staff will load your car on the lift and make sure its safely balanced. We will also walk you through safe usage of car lifts and tools. Everything is designed for beginners and experienced mechanics alike.

If you finish your work earlier or take longer, we’ve got you covered. If your time exceeds or falls short by less than 30 minutes, we can prorate the charge accordingly to ensure you’re only paying for the time you use. Please note, additional time can only be accommodated if there is availability.

Safety is a priority at CoGarage. We require all customers to wear closed-toe shoes and follow our safety guidelines, which include proper use of all equipment and tools. Before starting work, you’ll be asked to review and agree to our liability waiver.

Our staff is happy to provide basic assistance and answer general questions. However, please note that we do not provide in-depth repair advice or technical consultations. We recommend coming prepared with the knowledge needed for your specific project or adding on ALLDATA to ensure the work is done correctly.

Any damage caused to our equipment due to improper use or negligence will be your financial responsibility. If you notice any issues with the equipment, please notify us immediately.

No deposit is needed at time of booking. However , a card on file is required to hold your reservation. The balance is due at the end of your booking. If you need to cancel, refer to our cancellation policy for refund details.

Yes, you can extend your lift rental time if the garage space is available. Please notify us in advance to confirm availability. We recommend checking with our team as soon as you know you need more time.

Yes the oil catcher/funnels/drain pans are all included with any booking. Waste fee will apply if oil or other large waste is left here.

Absolutely! You can book a full day lift rental at our DIY garage. Please call or text to inquire about rates.

Our 2-Post lift has a 10,000 lb capacity and our scissor lift has a 6,000 lb capacity.
